Activating Your Online Access

In December 2007, we moved our online journal content to HighWire Press in order to provide our customers with the most reliable service. To continue to access your journal subscriptions online, you will need to activate your subscription. The process is quite simple, and is outlined below.

Finding your Customer ID #

The first 5 digit number on your address label is your Subscription ID#; the second 5 digit number is your customer ID# that you will use to activate your online subscription. If you are a new subscriber and haven't received your first mailed issue yet, please contact customer service at journals@wwwtest.uwpress.wisc.edu for assistance.

For Individuals

1) Click on "Individuals: Activate your online access"
2) Enter your Customer Number (click here for help in finding your customer number) and click on "Submit"
3) Fill in the required fields. You will need to create and enter a user name and password.
4) Click Send Form.
5) You should now have access to all subscribed content. The screen will display a list of the journal titles you are subscribed to.

For Institutions

1) Click on "Institutions: Activate your online access"

2) Enter your Customer Number and click on "Submit"

3) Fill in the required fields. You will need to create and enter a user name and password for the administrator of your institution's online access. You will need to know your institution's IP address(es).

4) Click Send Form.

5) You should now have access to all subscribed content. The screen will display a list of the journal titles you are subscribed to.

Beginning Issue
Subscriptions begin with the current issue unless otherwise specified by your order. Allow sufficient time for order processing.

Individual
Subscriptions for personal use paid for by personal check or credit card.

Institutional
Subscriptions for libraries, schools, laboratories, government agencies, businesses and their agents.

Payment

Make checks or money orders payable to Journals Division, The University of Wisconsin Press. We accept VISA and MasterCard. Individuals must prepay.

Add $31/yr for Substance and Native Plants Journal
