Symposium: Current Concepts
Conclusion

Jill T. Clark, C.O.

This symposium has addressed four strabismus disorders which are commonly encountered in every general ophthalmology practice: unilateral amblyopia, convergence excess esotropia, intermittent exotropia, and dissociated vertical deviation.

We hope that by presenting opposing viewpoints on the management options, you have gained a new perspective regarding the differing treatment strategies and their underlying rationales.

On behalf of the American Association of Certified Orthoptists and the American Orthoptic Council, Dr. Kraft and I would like to thank our speakers for their participation in this symposium. We hope you will join us again next year in New Orleans, as we explore the topic of "Near Vision and Reading Problems."
