Head Tilt Due to Null-point See-saw Nystagmus (Abstract)
Robert W Arnold, M.D.,M. Diane Armitage, C.0., Carl E. Rosen, M.D. and Brian R. Younge, M.D.
Following subtotal resection of an extensive pituitary tumor which caused fixation-sparing bitemporal hemianopsia, a 55 year old man maintained a right head tilt to minimize the vertical component of diplopia. With head tilt to the left, See-saw Nystagmus was superimposed on his exophoria. Fresnel prisms and bold diagonal visual orientation grids improved his symptoms during reading and driving.
