Steel Bridge Songs, Volume 5
Produced by Pat MacDonald, the engineers, and the artists themselves

Original music, including blues, acoustic, rock and roll, and more, inspired by a campaign to save an old bridge.

Since 2005, songwriters from across the United States have come to Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, on the second weekend in June with one purpose in mind: to save the old bridge. The Construction Zone is a week of collaborative songwriting that is part of the annual festival. Internationally known artists such as Jackson Browne and Jane Wiedlin hang out with local and emerging musicians, including national acts.

Contributing artists: Nick “Doc” Wagner, Jentri Colello, Robbie Schiller, Laura Schultz, Jared Johnson, Bobby Bryan, Steve Smith, Pauli Ryan, Geri X, Greg Roteik, Teddy Pedriana, Eric McFadden, Chris Aaron, Billy Triplett, Clyde Stubblefield, Delaney Davidson, Steven P. Link, Kim Manning, Lantz Lazwell, Dustin Welch, Emilie Rose Bishop, Wally Ingram, Steve Hamilton, Christine Flores-Cozza, Hans Christian, Dan Stoffles, Adam Mackintosh, Landon Capelle, Lumberjack Cash, Jamey Clark, Pat Bohan, Jeremiah Nelson, Shawn Drake, Jeff Hammes, Sid Brown, Tony Brown, Meaghan Owens, Rick Younglove, Freedy Johnston, David Cox, Anna Sacks, Josh Hemingway, James Hall, Bruce Reaves, Jonathan Spottiswoode, and Mark Addison

Steel Bridge Songfest, with its infusion of new songs written solely for the event, is truly a first-of-its-kind festival, merging musical inspiration with historic preservation and creating the world’s largest collection of music inspired by a bridge. The writers and artists all volunteer their time, energy, and creativity to this project. Proceeds are donated to the Steel Bridge Fund.
