Franz Rosenzweig (1886–1929) helped establish Das
freie jüdische Lehrhaus (Free House of Jewish Learning)
in Frankfurt-am-Main. Rosenzweig is one of the greatest contributors
to Jewish philosophy in the twentieth century.
